We have had the pleasure of having Wild Dogs from all over the country visit our beautiful area. This presented a wonderfull opportunity to meet these Wild Dogs and show them around.
The first of these visitors I’ve had the pleasure to meet were Obilickx and Nursesickx, visitors over from Belgium touring South Africa on two Honda CTX200 Bushlanders.
They have been following my travels on my CTX200 Bushlander and we have been mailing each other since before they came to South Africa, so it was good to finally meet them.
We would just do a short ride from Oudtshoorn to George over Montagu Pass and two other Wild Dogs - Justbiking and GravelTravel - decided to join. So 5 of us set out from Oudtshoorn on a beautifull Monday morning.

Just a short stint, but Montagu Pass is always worth it.
The next day we’d strike out to Attakwas Kloof so the next afternoon the group riding to Attakwas Kloof met in George.
Trailrider - Honda TransAlp 700
Rooimier - Honda NXR125
Panne - KTM950 Adv
Sláinte Mhaith - BMW GS1200
Mello Yello - BMW GS800
Obelikx - Honda CTX200
TravelGravel - BMW GS650
Justbiking - KTM990
Nursesickx - Honda CTX200
Our destination - Bonniedale Adventure Farm - is only about 80km from George if you take the gravel roads.
Apon arrival we started to get to know each other. Unfortunately Mello Yello and Rooimier couldn't stay long as they had to head back before nightfall. As for the rest of us, well, we stayed up late

The next morning the bikes were waiting patiently for the ride through Attakwas Kloof.
Our accommodation for the night:
Bonniedale Adventure Farm recently added some permanent tents with beds and mattresses. One tent is a communal kitchen with a kettle, stove and fridge - very nice indeed!
Some pics of our ride through Attakwas Kloof:
From the exit of the kloof we headed towards Van Wyksdorp (where we said goodbye to Panne) and crossed the Rooiberg Pass en route to Calitzdorp:
Where we said our goodbyes.
It was a pleasure meeting each and everyone of you. Please look me up if you're in the area again.
